A conservative Facebook friend starts getting liberal ads — why?

Communication from a conservative Facebook friend about new ads he started to receive after participating in Facebook discussions on my page:

“It is interesting seeing your posts. Placing comments on your posts has apparently created perturbations in my own profile. I am now enjoying Facebook ads for the DNC, and the Biden campaign. I also have been solicited to subscribe to Vanity Fair.”
