Great film on Chinese in the US

I saw an absolutely amazing movie tonight on Amazon Prime called The Farewell. It features Akwafina, who appeared in crazy rich Asians, and is about a girl who came to the US very young from China and her Chinese family in the US. . Most of it was filmed in China when they return to see her dying grandmother and is over half in pretty simple Chinese. The characters are amazingly endearing, the portrayal of Chinese culture and city life in China today superb. It is funny as well as moving, with a portrayal of Chinese parents that is very realistic and reminds one a lot of Jewish parents. See it!
