Is military abandoning trump?

A former executive education student of mine, ex military and now a defense department civilian, quite conservative and not reflexively anti-trump, wrote to me about the statement by General Mattis, “This is a moment that might break a lot of others loose. I’d be surprised if it didn’t. He is adored by the military .”
